What this site records

In plain terms, because it is short. Last updated August 2026.

Who is responsible

Carlos Coaching runs this website and decides what is recorded on it. If you want to ask anything about what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, use the enquiry form and say so — it goes straight to Carlos.

When you just visit the site

Every page you open here is recorded, so Carlos can see whether the site is being read and which parts of it people use. What gets kept for each visit is:

  • Your IP address — the address your internet connection is using.
  • The page you opened, and the time.
  • Roughly where you are — the country, and often the town, worked out from that address by the company that hosts the site. It is not your exact location and it is not taken from your device.
  • The site that sent you, if you followed a link — the name of the site only, not what you were reading on it.
  • Whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer, which system it runs, and whether you opened the site from your home screen rather than in a browser.

Alongside that, and kept separately, is a note of what you did with the page: how far down it you scrolled, how long you stayed, which links and buttons you pressed, and whether you started filling a form in — including the reason if it would not let you send it, such as an email address it did not recognise. That record carries no address and no location, only the page and what was done on it. What you actually typed is never part of it. If you send the form, what you wrote is covered below instead.

No cookies are used for this, nothing is stored on your device, and nothing is shared with an advertising network or any other third party. It is not used to try to identify you personally, and no automated decision is made about you from it.

The record of your visit is kept for 400 days, and what you did on the page for 120 days, then both are deleted automatically. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: understanding whether a small business's own website works. If you would rather not be counted, most browsers and ad blockers will stop it, and you can ask for your records to be deleted using the form above.

When you send an enquiry

The form asks for your name, age, sex, email address and phone number, along with whatever else it asks about your training and health at the time. That is kept so Carlos can answer you and, if you go on to be coached, so he has what he needs to build your plan.

Replies go by email, and an email you send back becomes part of the same conversation in his coaching console. Enquiries are kept until you ask for yours to be removed.

When you are a client

Everything you put into the client area is held so it can be coached from: your check-ins, weights, photographs, any video you send for a technique review, blood work you choose to upload, your plans, your sessions and your messages. It is visible to Carlos and to nobody else.

You can ask for any of it, or all of it, to be deleted at any time. Technique review clips are removed automatically after 90 days.

Who else sees any of it

The companies that run the site and its email do, because it passes through them: the hosting and database provider, the file storage the photos and videos sit in, and the email service that carries messages between you and Carlos. None of them are given the information for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see what is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and you can object to being counted in the site figures. Ask through the enquiry form. If you are not happy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
